Purex Complete with Zout- Review
I still love watching the mailbox as much as I did as a kid. Though my parents would say "no news is good news" on the days we only got junk mail, I disagreed. Even though now I get plenty of bills in the mail- I still love to watch for treasures. Signing up for freebies helps brighten my day :)
Since becoming a Purex Insider it has felt like Christmas time when the mail comes! I get packages, and as sad as this may sound- I am still happy when I open them to find Laundry Detergent! I have already had the chance to try and review Purex Complete Crystals Softener, and last week I got another package from Purex to try, Purex Complete with Zout.
I was happy to see this came with a Free and Clear option, though my baby hasn't shown any signs of sensitivity to soaps it has been easier to wash everything with Free and Clear than to have to separate his clothing and blankets and use a more expensive detergent on them. It never made sense to me to wash just the baby stuff in one detergent, since he is held most of the time and exposed to my clothing. So it is nice that Purex gives that option for those that either are sensitive to perfumes or have small children and do not want to risk it.
I used it to wash two loads of laundry so far, and feel that the clothes came out smelling fresh (not perfumed, due to being free and clear). I think to have it work even better, I would need to soak the clothing in the machine for a longer time. Having a baby gives me some pretty big stains to test, and though some were left after washing, I know that some of the sleepers were close to being trashed before I tried washing them. I plan to keep trying it and give another review if I find a way that helps it perform even better.
I think this detergent is more helpful for everyday stains that miss the pretreatment, like the shirts that my kids get dirt or food on then toss down the laundry chute without me knowing. I try to catch it all, but doing laundry already takes enough time without meticulously going through all the items.
Don't just rely on my review- Try a Free Sample of Purex Complete with Zout and test it on your own stains :) Let me know what you think! Keep watching my blog for a Purex Complete with Zout giveaway as well!

Maybelline Super Stay 24 2-Step Lipcolor- BzzAgent
I am part of a BzzAgent Campaign for Maybelline Super Stay 24 2-Step Lipcolor. This means I got a sample kit to test out and share, and I can give my opinion on the product. If you haven't signed up for BzzAgent, now is a good time to sign up! They have been getting many new campaigns and it is fun to try out new things, share samples and coupons with friends, and give your own opinion to people who want to hear about it.
I tried the color Wear On Wildberry and really liked how easily it applied. I have used other long lasting lip colors, but this was not as dry as those tend to be. I could easily apply it and smooth it into a natural look rather than feel like I drew my lips on with a marker.
If you want to see just how easy this is to apply, watch the video.
After applying, you wait for the lipcolor to dry, then add the moisturizing lip balm. In the end you're left with a glossy and vibrant color that should last for hours.
This is how the color looked in the morning when I applied it at the start of the day. I did nothing different in my routine and didn't reapply during the day just to test and see how long it would really last.
This is at the end of the day. The color isn't as vibrant as when I first applied, but it also isn't crusty or falling apart like I have experienced with other long lasing lip colors. I think that had I reapplied halfway through the day it would have looked even better. So though there are 24 hours in a day, I do not think this lipcolor can handle a full day without any touch ups. I don't expect to have lipcolor last forever without a touch up though and overall I think this product performed well.
I have more colors to try and am going to pass those one to two friends who love to try out new lipcolors and can let me know how long the color lasted for them. I love this part of being a BzzAgent- being able to share the new stuff with my friends!
Have you tried Maybelline Super Stay 24 2-Step Lipcolor? What is your favorite shade? Did it last as long as you wanted it to? If you haven't tried it yet, give it a try for cheap with this $2 off coupon!

Just Dance 2 House Party!
Sometimes it is hard to know which sites are legit when you get into the world of Online freebies. Houseparty.com is exactly what it says it is.You sign up and apply for the parties that interest you. They will select the participants based on the surveys you take when applying to be sure they select people that meet the needs of what they are looking for. Then, when selected, you host a party and share the product(s) with others in a fun way. It is a way for them to get the word out about products and a great way for you to get to have fun with friends and get free stuff in the process. If you haven't signed up yet, it is worth it!
I have been a part of HouseParty for around 2 years now. This is the first time I was selected to host a party, though I have had friends selected and attended their parties. This is the Just Dance 2 Party Pack I received just for hosting! I got to get 2 games for FREE and my children (and I) love them and now that the party is over, we get to keep them!
To host this party I invited friends to a Mother Daughter Dance Off. Sending invitations was easy since I just had to enter in their emails and the site took care of getting the invitations out. Guests could RSVP through HouseParty and I could easily keep track of who was attending.
Hosting a party isn't expensive either! I just had a casual party. Guests brought snacks, I provided drinks, and we spent the night dancing. It was a fun night that wouldn't have happened without HouseParty.

Tom's Wicked Fresh
I am signed up for many online companies. One is BzzAgent where I get to test out different products and spread the word (or Bzz) about them. This is really a fun way to try new things and share them with my friends. I've gotten full sized products like hair gel and once even got a Sonicare toothbrush to try out!

The campaign I'm currently involved with is for Tom's Wicked Fresh toothpaste. It uses natural ingredients and that sets it apart from other brands.
I had never tried this product before, but was excited about it because I know many who are loyal to this brand.
My first impression was that it wasn't the greatest, but I kept brushing. The minty taste was not as obvious as it is for other toothpastes, but it also wasn't a fake flavor either. Rather than feel like my breath was masked by flavor, it felt really clean. It didn't make my breath smell good after but instead it took away the bad smell.
I still use it each morning and night when I brush and plan to keep using it. I have shared some trial tubes with friends and hope to hear their opinions soon!
