Combat Source Kill Max Ant Bait and Ant Gel- Review + Giveaway!

This summer has been a dry one, and because of that ants invaded my kitchen in search of water. There are not many things that I hate more than waking up to a sink full of ants and having to deal with that before my morning coffee! I tried a variety of methods to try and keep them away, but every night they'd find their way back into my kitchen.

So when Combat offered the Purex Insiders the chance to review their Source Kill Max Ant Bait and Ant Gel I signed up and was chosen! I think I was a little too excited to get that box in the mail.

This one:

The first tip I have is patience. Yes you want all of these ants gone, but if they all die the first time you put out the gel, they don't take it back to the nest. This is the most difficult part for me because I just want them GONE.

You place the Source Kill Max Ant Gel anywhere you see ant activity. I put it in the cracks they were coming in at, and along their trail near the sink. You can place the Source Kill Max Ant Bait around where ant activity is as well. I did both at the same time because I was FED UP with these ants.

It took a couple days before the trails were completely gone, though I still have the occasional ant crawling on my counter. I know that it could be so much worse, so I am pleased with the results. I get to have my coffee without battling ants each morning, which made this completely worthwhile for me!

Combat is also having a Bug-Free Backyard Bash Sweepstakes! You can enter HERE and win $1000 to host a "bug-free" bash of your own.

Don't take my word for it, enter the contest to win a kit of your own!

  1. My husband used some sort of borax mixture he made one year. I think we even had some sort of peanut butter trap he made one time too.... Crazy nuisances!
